Paytm recently launched a new feature called Paytm UPI LITE Auto Top-up, which allows you to make payments without entering a PIN. Be it making payment for your cup of coffee or a cab ride, you can just complete those without any interruptions.
So, what is this Paytm UPI LITE Auto Top-up?
The Paytm UPI LITE Auto Top-up is a feature that allows you to make small, frequent and easy payments without a PIN. This PIN-less payment is only allowed up to a limit of Rs. 500. And the best part is that the amount gets automatically recharged again when the amount is less than the set limit.
Why Should You Use It?
Imagine you are in a hurry and you need to pay for something. Now, while making the payment through UPI, your network drops. So, what do you do at the moment? Nothing! You are just stuck there, losing time and probably money as well.
Paytm UPI LITE Auto Top-up lite removes that burden and makes the payment easy and fast. Besides this, the Paytm UPI Lite keeps the small payments away from your main bank statement.
This keeps your bank statement clutter-free and you get to review your transactions easily. If you want to track your small payments, then you can do that through the app itself.
Who Can Use It?
Currently, the Paytm UPI LITE Auto Top-up feature is only available for users with Yes Bank and Axis Bank accounts. If you don’t have a bank account with these banks, then don’t worry, as it will be rolled out for the remaining banks as well.
How to Use The New Feature?
The process is really simple and easy.
- Download the Paytm app and link your bank account with that.
- Next, create your UPI handle and set your auto top-up limit.
- Finally, add money to the UPI balance.
That’s it. So, next time you plan to pay for your coffee or your cab ride, use Paytm UPI LITE.
